Ingredients :
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar (divided)
- ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa, divided
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 tspn baking powder
- ¼ tspn salt
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine flour, 2/3 cup sugar, ¼ cup cocoa, coffee, baking powder
and salt.
- Mix together milk, butter & vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Stir
well.
- Spray 8" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Mix together remaining 1/3 cup sugar & 2 tbsp cocoa. Sprinkle over
batter.
- Pour 1 cup boiling water over batter. Do not stir.
- Bake 30 minutes. Serve warm.
