Macadamia Crab ball

Ingredients :

  • 250g cream cheese, or cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped spring onions
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp macadamia nuts, lightly roasted and chopped
  • 220g can Crab meat
  • chopped parsley, extra


Preparation and Cooking Instructions :

  1. Have cream cheese at room temperature and mix it in a basin with chopped onion, parsley and lemon juice.
  2. Drain crab meat, mix into cheese mixture with the chopped macadamia nuts.
  3. Chill mixture for several hours and roll in the extra chopped parsley to form a ball.
  4. Serve with biscuits or crispbread.
  5. Cooks note : Mix all ingredients including cottage cheese to make a dip and serve with biscuits.
