Greek Islands pizza

Serves : 2 x 8" or 1 x 12" pizza


Ingredients :

  • ¾ lb boneless lamb
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • ½ tspn garlic powder
  • 1 tspn Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ quantity herb pizza dough
  • 1 red pepper, julienne
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 oz mushrooms, sliced and sautéed
  • 5 oz sundried tomatoes, julienne
  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1½ cups feta cheese, crumbled

Preparation and Cooking Instructions

  1. slice the lamb into thin strips and place in a mixing bowl. Blend in the salt, oregano, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and half the oil. Cover and marinate for 2 hours. Drain
  2. heat the remaining oil in a skillet and quickly fry the lamb. Cool.
  3. Preheat oven to 450°F. pan the dough according to instructions. Spoon over the dough, the lamb, peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. Cover with the cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
