Grilled Salmon with teriyaki sauce

Serves : 4
Ingredients :
- 4 salmon steaks
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice wine or sweet sherry
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tspn fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Combine all ingredients, except salmon steaks, in a small saucepan.
Cook until slightly reduced and syrupy. Brush the steaks lightly with
the sauce and set aside for 20 minutes.
- Heat the grill. Put the steaks on the rack. Brush on a little more
of the sauce and grill, not too close to the heat, for 4 minutes. Turn
the fish over, brush again with the sauce and grill for a further 3
- 4 minutes or until cooked. Serve with any remaining sauce poured over
the top.
