Grilled lamb chops

Yield : 4  Preparation time : 2-3 minutes + overnight standing time  Cooking time : 12 minutes

Ingredients :

  • 4 lamb chops
  • 4 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 4 tbsp dashi
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped or extra spring onion
  • ½ cucumber, sliced

Preparation and Cooking Instructions

  1. Put the chops in a small sauté pan. Mix the Soya sauce, dashi and spring onions; bring to the boil, pour over the chops and leave to marinade in a cool place[lace or refrigerator overnight.
  2. Next day, drain the chops, and grill, turning once, on low heat for 10 minutes, using the marinade as a basting liquid. Brown both sides, garnish with the ginger or spring onion and serve with slices of cucumber.
