Makes : 1 cup
Ingredients :
- 30g black or brown mustard seeds
- 75g yellow mustard seeds
- ½ cup white wine vinegar
- ½ cup white wine
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tspn thyme leaves
- salt and cracked black pepper
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Place the mustard seeds in a nonmetallic bowl and pour over the vinegar
and wine. Cover and stand overnight.
- Place the mustard seed mixture in a small food processor or mortar
and pestle with the honey, lemon juice, thyme, salt and pepper. Grind
the mixture until almost smooth. Spoon into hot sterilized jars and
seal.
