Ingredients :
- 130g butter
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1¾ cups plain flour
- 1 tspn baking powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- Dark chocolate for icing
- 1 cup pecans
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Using a food processor, cream the butter and sugar together until
it becomes very light. Add the egg and continue to beat well.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into the mix and combine well.
- Roll into golf-ball size balls and place on a lightly greased paper-lined
baking sheet.
- Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until slightly firm and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- When room temperature, simply melt some dark chocolate in the microwave
and spoon a little over each brownie and top with a pecan.
