Smoked Eel pâté

Ingredients :

  • 250g smoked eel
  • 60g butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
  • ¼ cup cream


Preparation and Cooking Instructions :

  1. Remove skin and bones from eel. Blend or process eel with butter, herbs and cream until smooth. Divide mixture into 4 dishes (¼ - ½ cup capacity), cover, refrigerate pâté for several hours before serving.
  2. Cooks note : Pâté can be prepared up to 3 days ahead; keep in refrigerator.
