Ingredients :
- 1 cup butter
- 1¾ cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 tspn baking soda
- ½ tspn cinnamon
- 1 tspn nutmeg
- ½ tspn allspice
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2½ cups shredded carrots
- ¾ cup chopped nuts
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
Preparation and Cooking Instructions :
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time,
beating well after each addition.
- Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture alternately
with water and vanilla.
- Fold in carrots, nuts and chips.
- Turn into prepared 9" x 13" pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
